About Us
Our journey began with a simple belief — quality medicines should be affordable for every Indian.
Driven by a passion to reduce the burden of medicine costs, we joined the Government of India’s Jan Aushadhi movement in 2015, establishing INDIA'S FIRST Jan Aushadhi Kendra under the Public–Private Partnership (PPP) model in Subhash Nagar, New Delhi.
Our commitment to service was recognised with a National Award presented by then Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Shri Mansukh Mandaviya Ji in 2018, and in 2026 with the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Seva Ratan Samman.
Mission
Since then, our mission has remained unchanged: make quality medicines more accessible and help families save their hard-earned money on healthcare.
Today, API GENERIC PHARMACY™ carries that mission forward digitally — bringing Jan Aushadhi medicines, quality generics, healthcare and wellness products closer to people across India.
From one Jan Aushadhi Kendra in 2015 to many Janaushadhi Kendras and Generic Medicines Centers and a growing digital pharmacy today — affordability was our beginning, service remains our purpose.
Vision
To make medicines affordable with high quality , and make them in reach of all needy , all over India. Every person to receive affordable medicine as soon as possible, like , within one to two hours.
