Used to prevent and treat blood clots in conditions including atrial fibrillation, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism, and patients with mechanical heart valves. Acenocoumarol has a shorter half-life than warfarin, allowing more flexible dose adjustments.Contraindications & Warnings
Not for use in active bleeding, peptic ulcer, severe liver or kidney disease, uncontrolled hypertension, or pregnancy (major risk of harm to the baby).
