Do not use in severe asthma, significant COPD, cardiogenic shock, heart block, very slow heart rate, anuria (inability to urinate), or allergy to sulphonamide medicines. Beta-blockers must not be stopped abruptly. Monitor electrolytes and renal function. Avoid in pregnancy.
