Do not use in active bleeding, peptic ulcer, severe liver or kidney disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or pregnancy (major risk to the baby). Vitamin K in food (green leafy vegetables) and many medicines interact significantly with acenocoumarol — maintain a consistent diet and report any new medicine to your doctor immediately. Alcohol increases bleeding risk.
