Used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Perindopril is an ACE inhibitor that relaxes blood vessels by blocking angiotensin II; Indapamide is a thiazide-like diuretic that removes excess fluid and also relaxes blood vessels. Also used to reduce the risk of cardiovascular events in patients with stable coronary artery disease.Contraindications & Warnings
Do not use in pregnancy or breastfeeding (perindopril can harm the baby). Not for use in a history of angioedema with any ACE inhibitor, anuria (inability to urinate), severe kidney disease, or bilateral renal artery stenosis. Monitor kidney function, potassium, and sodium levels regularly. Inform your doctor of all medicines, especially potassium supplements, lithium, or NSAIDs.
