Used to prevent and treat blood clots in atrial fibrillation, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism, and patients with mechanical heart valves. Prevents clotting by blocking vitamin K-dependent clotting factors in the liver.Contraindications & Warnings
Not for use in active bleeding, peptic ulcer, severe liver or kidney disease, uncontrolled hypertension, or pregnancy (serious harm to the baby).
