Cilnidipine 5 mg tablet (L/N-type calcium channel blocker — starting dose)Uses & Indications
Used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). This starting dose is used to initiate cilnidipine therapy. Cilnidipine's dual calcium channel blocking action provides blood pressure reduction with less reflex tachycardia and less ankle swelling than some other calcium channel blockers, and it may reduce urinary protein in hypertensive diabetic patients.Contraindications & Warnings
Use with caution in severe aortic stenosis or recent heart attack. Avoid grapefruit juice. Inform your doctor of all other medicines. Not recommended in pregnancy.
