Used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Cilnidipine's dual L-type and N-type calcium channel blocking action provides blood vessel dilation with less reflex tachycardia and reduced ankle swelling compared to some other calcium channel blockers. May also reduce urinary protein, helpful in hypertensive patients with diabetes.Contraindications & Warnings
Use with caution in severe aortic stenosis or recent heart attack. Avoid grapefruit juice. Inform your doctor about all other medicines. Not recommended in pregnancy.
