Do not use in severe heart failure, very slow heart rate, heart block (without pacemaker), or if taking beta-blockers intravenously. Use with caution in mild heart failure or combined with other heart rate-lowering medicines. Tell your doctor about all medications, especially beta-blockers, digoxin, and antiarrhythmic drugs.
