Perindopril Erbumine 4 mg + Amlodipine 5 mg tablet (ACE inhibitor + calcium channel blocker combination)Uses & Indications
Used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and stable angina (chest pain). Perindopril relaxes blood vessels by blocking angiotensin II; Amlodipine widens arteries by blocking calcium channel entry into vessel walls. Also used to reduce cardiovascular events in high-risk patients with established coronary artery disease.Contraindications & Warnings
Do not use in pregnancy or breastfeeding (perindopril harms the baby). Not for use with a history of angioedema from any ACE inhibitor. Avoid in bilateral renal artery stenosis. Grapefruit juice can increase amlodipine levels. Monitor kidney function and potassium. Tell your doctor about all medicines, especially potassium supplements, NSAIDs, and lithium.
