Used as add-on therapy for the prevention of angina attacks (chest pain) in adult patients with stable angina who are inadequately controlled by first-line antianginal therapies (such as beta-blockers or calcium channel blockers). Trimetazidine works by improving the heart's energy metabolism during reduced oxygen supply.Contraindications & Warnings
Do not use in Parkinson's disease, movement disorders (tremor, restless legs), or severe kidney disease. Avoid in pregnancy and breastfeeding. Periodic review by your doctor is recommended. Do not use as the sole treatment for angina.
