Used to prevent and treat angina (chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart). Nicorandil relaxes and widens the coronary arteries, improving blood supply to the heart muscle.Contraindications & Warnings
Do not use if you are allergic to nicorandil or have very low blood pressure (hypotension), heart failure with low filling pressures, or cardiogenic shock. Avoid if using PDE5 inhibitors (sildenafil, tadalafil — used for erectile dysfunction or pulmonary hypertension). Alcohol may lower blood pressure further.
